2nd day...
we woke up at 11ish...
get ourselves prepared, picked up Mung & Kelvin...
reached Bangsar Village almost 3pm...
took LONG time to find a parking space...
ended up parked at the indoor carpark with expensive parking fees...
ended up parked at the indoor carpark with expensive parking fees...
we were starved... I will definitely pass out if we take few more minutes to look for parking space...
can't decide to dine in at Delicious or Alexis.. since both of them are in my must-eat-list in this trip..
at last, Delicious won~
according to Mung, a lot of local celebraties like to dine in at Delicious, bangsar..
it was full-housed and we met a local DJ/ VJ seated few tables from us...
Caffe Latte with Biscotti...
the coffee aroma freshed up our day... my fav ILLY coffee that they're using... mMmm ^^
we asked for more Almond biscotti, and the nice waiter brought us 2 little cups with more than 10 biscotti... ^^
F.O.C.
I can't resist from the varieties of dessert,
therefore, I didn't order for the main course, and go ahead for the dessert...
Banana & Peaches Crumble, served with a scoop of Vanilla Ice-cream...
*heaven~
most of the waiter/ waitress recommended the Apple & berries Crumble..
but I tot the banana & peaches is special.. apple is more common that available at most places..
and I've made a right decision..
this is so nice~ and of cause it won't be that sweet as berries do...
Luckily I didn't order any main or appetizer..
a lot of bacon...
and plenty pieces of Parmesan slices on top of the pasta..
creamy and yummy~
I can't recall what's the veggie called, but it's something like Rockette...
with bitter flavour...
pity Mung has to pick em up one by one.. in order not to spoil her pasta..
afterall.. it's nice... and fresh~
The Pine Nuts simply attracted me !! so nice..
but I really can't stand the smell of crab meat...
every mouthful of pasta consists of crabmeats....
Delicious Signature Masala Lamb Shank
we can see every 5 from 10 tables do have orderes this..
no doubt.. this is really nice..
see there are Pine Nuts again !! with raisin sumore !! *weEee... he he
the rice has beautiful aroma... not normal white rice... not nasi lemak.. just dunno what type/ flavor of rice is it.. but it goes so well with the curry...
the lamb is SO tender and well-flavoured... it's huge and have a lot of meat...
we were struglling to finish it...
unfortunately, the Papadum is not crunchy at all.. not nice...
The ladies, one from England, another one is Canadian... they were so nice that offered to help us to take a pic in front of 'Delicious'
they were so surprised when knowing that we are from Penang...
they both follow their husband to KL for business...
both of them met each other in Penang, Bt Feringghi 3 years ago..
after that trip, they will catch up once in a while somewhere in KL...
this gathering would be the last meet up for them, as one of them is leaving to HK in a week times... (her husband has been transfered to HK... )
We met ko ko at Alexis during tea-time..
he came down to kl in the morning for a meeting, will be leaving at dinner time...
we were not to have high-tea here, in facts, ko ko has yet had his lunch... and he is so so so missed his little lobster pasta ~
toasted bread with Olive Oil & Balsamic Vinegar...
simply Best~ ^^
Yappies with Angel Hair Olio
koko always crazies with Pasta Aglio Olio... which mainly cooked with Olive Oil & pepper flakes,
no sauce no cream no cheese...
but this is not that common in M'sia..
so far, we don't see it available in most of the restaurant in Penang..
Seafood Olio-Olio Pasta in QE II is one of koko's favourite...
the angel hair looks so much like Wan Tan Mee...
ha ha.. we seldom see Angel hair available at most restaurant too...
guess many ppl not really familiar with it too..
it's the type of pasta that thinner than Spagethi... je's favourite choice..
some people do not like it... but we reckon the thin'ness makes us feel not that full compared with other type of pasta...
babie lobsters in Olio is simply best~
so smooth.. so nice.. so yummie~~
