High Tea Experience at E&O

been hearing the high tea at E&O for long time...

never get the chance or 'excuse' to spend that $ on random day...

few mths backed... in January' 2011..

when Jess came back frm Singapore...

we had a quick catch up there...

RM 48 ++ per pax for

range of fruits tea for selection...

sandwiches, scones, cakes and pastries...

I had the Sweet Berries Tea which I love alot !!

they served in a pot...

each a tea pot ~ :)

stewpig had Mint & Fresh...

helps a lot for sneezing day~~ :)

the selection of tea is the highlight for the whole session...

so wanted to buy the tea packets home...

to be franked, the pastries ain't really impressive.... :'(

Sandwiches of the day

- smoked Salmon + cream cheese

- turkey bacon + pickles

- zucchini (vegetarian)

comment: normal white & wholemeal breads... tho ingredients okay... but the breads that they are using kinda disappointing...

Butter & Strawberry Jam for Scones

Comment: bit dry and hard compared to the home made Scones from David Brown...

Variesties of Cakes, cookies and pastries...

overall is okay but not so impressive...

like the Fruits Tart ^^

the amount paid is to buy the atmosphere and environment for a gathering on a beautiful afternoon...

afterall, we still have a good time there.... ^^

this is the Tea that they're serving...

can't remmeber how much selling per box...

really recommended !

Kafe Mews at Jalan Muntri

another new cafe for chilling on a weekend afternoon...

Kafe Mews at Muntri Mews...

along Jalan Muntri... few shops next to MoonTree 47...

newly opened in March...

Muntri Mews is a boutique hotel located in Georgetown...

quite new...

very nice and beautiful...

hence... kinda pricey too... rated ard rm 300 +

but gonna be a great experience to stay there ! I hope I could enjoy a nite there some day ! *winkz

the cafe is not a big 1... but small and comfy at the front corner...

serving Breakfast and Lunch only...

Sofa + cushion are my best frens !!! *big and shy smile... :D

varieties of mocktail and fresh fruit juices available...

the price range is about Kopicine level... averagely RM 14+ per drink

compared to MoonTree 47 is bit more expensive of course...

BUT

they have air-conditioner !!!

Winter Berry Cafe Latte

very weird combination - White Chocolate, Black Berry Syrup + an espresso shot...

it's sweet, the berry flavour almost covered the coffee aroma...

too sweet for my liking...

Mango & Calamansi

Fresh Mango blended with squeezes of calamansi (sour plum, sui kam)

it's like eating fresh mango while you tasting the drinks...

Fresh Fruit Juices - Orange, Lychee and Strawberry Yogurt...

all blended together and get this juice !

can eat the tiny pieces of lychee ~ ^^

since the weather is not too hot...

we moved to sit outside for a short while...

tho it wasn't hot... but our weather here in Malaysia still very humid....

so we still opts for the air-conditioned room with sofa & cushions... :P

there's a promo breaky set...

rm 25+, Omelette with choice of coffee or tea + fruits...

I went at tea time....

thus, didn't get to try out the foods...

but Mung tried the omelette and said it's nice ~ :)

Cake of the day and Muffin available for tea hr...

( kitchen closed after lunch )
