lOvely bRunch at St Ali, South Melbourne

it's a great year for me...
so glad that gotten the chance to visit Melbourne, my fav city twice within half yr !
I will Slowly Slowly blog about it... heheh...

during my 2nd visit in September, for my babe's biggie day...
she brought me to St Ali for brunch...
as we din get to make it during my May holidays...

it was located at South Melbourne...
one of the place serving best breakfast/ brunch...
but according to Eu..
it used to be nicer and better..
in term of coffee and foods...

in order to save the time and hassle...
we caught tram to Domain Interchange den went there by cab...
it does have walking distance tram stop which near Lygon Street (I supposed)

12-18, the Door number...
looks like a big garage...

big big Coffee machine to roast their own beans...
imagine whole cafe filled with the beautiful coffee aroma....
* i likey *

can custom order how you want your coffee to be...

bottle of tap water...
we both love the Owl bottle so much.. hehe
In Aussie...
on da house drinking water is given in every restaurant....
which I really love this concept very much...
nonetheless, also becuz Aussie drinks Tab Water.. whereas we don't... it costs backed in Malaysia.. hmmm...
however, several boutique cafe which operate by foreigner in Penang here do have this practise ! * likey *

we always have the same coffee...
Caffe Mocha.... *love*

OJ, Orange Juice..
to boost up a bit...
In Aussie... all the fresh squeeze fruit juice selling anywhere are without ice, without sugar and mostly no water added...

I totally can't recall what did Eu have...
even by looking at the menu...
some random Fried double egg on turkish bread with heaps of fresh spinach leaves and some special-dunno-what + bacon...
yummy, and huge portion as usual...

The Judith Bit , A$ 17
house cured sake salmon on toasted bagel with avocado feta and horseradish cream cheese...

it's so yum.. can see how generous they gave the smoked salmon.. it's fresh (no frozen yulky type), thick and alot !

two of my all time fav top choice breaky/ brunch... must be Porridge (which is cooked oats / muesli / granola with yogurt and fruits + nuts ) or Smoked Salmon Bagel with fetta and cream cheese...

when we first entered the shop,
we thought we Must order some desserts for after meal...
we din at last, as had rily hard time to clear our breaky as much as possible..
what I can do is to snap some pics of those lovely pastries and say bye bye to them...

get to online purchase their freshly roasted coffee beans from their website..

we so missed our old time to walk through the valley, explore new cafes...
spent hrs in a random cafe...
sipping a cuppa while talking on random topics...
my wish is to at least catch up with her once a year...
from spending hrs in a day together cut down to few hrs in year very humble d mah....
love you, hun...
xoxo

Ginger Bud Pesto Spaghetti with Grilled Chicken Breast
I love this..
reckon the spaghetti noodles texture taste like laksa noodles..
the pesto tastes like laksa too ! maybe caused by the laksa flower...

to hope that our foods could digest a bit...
so have some room for the homemade Ice Cream...

who knows, suddenly the lady ang mor boss, gave us 3 little pieces of Double Choc Brownie which is just hot from Oven for FREE !!!
