Revisited David Brown, Penang Hill

Last month…
I got my 2nd visit to David Brown, Penang Hill with mah family…
On the day Jess backed from S’pore…
Apparently, she was joining us for the dinner…
Due to worse services provided on Valentine’s Day…
Management of David Brown gave all the customers who bought the Valentine’s package a 50% voucher…
The voucher entitled for any food or drink.. with the max of 10 pplz…
How worth is it, yeah !!!
Ha ha… Us, a group of 10 went there for dinner on a random Sunday Nite…
It was lil mOnster 1st trip to Penang Hill… his 1st time took Cable Car… he he
We went up at 6ish.. hope to see the Sunset… too bad..
The weather is bad… cloud has hideaway Uncle Sun… we saw no SunSet… :`(
But still.. the sceneries is breathtaking…
The cool weather simply made people feel so much relaxing… ^^

BUT

The idiot mosquitoes are a lot !!!
We kept asking the waiter/ waitress for mosquitoe coils =.=”
We ordered plenty of foods…
Purpose was to try out as many foods as possible that available on the menu..
Since we got 50 %... everything would be considering cheap.. every price is So Much Reasonable~
*winkz

I gave up the Main Course, and got myself a set of Homemade Scone ( afternoon tea-set, but avail all day long ) and a dessert…
The scone is so so so fantastic !!!
Purely the outlook is different with any scone that offers at any place…
Taste different.. the texture and the taste… but still so Amazing…
Served hot… when put on the homemade cream, butter and the homemade Strawberry jam that you could actually eat the chunky strawberry
All melted in One.. oh my.. heaven…
Even Jess and Stewpig also melted with it… I think the cool’ish weather has made this pastries more wonderful…

ko ko ordered this Garlic Bread to go with his Tomato Soup...
I know he would still prefer the Tomato Soup from Penang Bowl Canteen...
Jess and Kok o had the Mix-Grilled – Lamb, Beef, Chic, Bacon & Egg
The looked-like-Mandarin-Orange thingy is actually grilled tomato..
Unbelievable juicy…
Today Special - Roast Beef... for daddy and stewpig...
The Manager told us.. the beef was just fresh roasted in the afternoon...
Rack of Lamb...
this is something like that Main Course Stewpig had during our Valentine's dinner 2 mths back...
Fish & Chips...
despite the fish is fresh.. nothing much special tho..
normally the nothing-special-dish is ordered for mummy...
she doesn't like those special-thingies...
the basic, the best for her...
Je’s Chicken & Mushroom Pie is simply Delicious…
It has an whole egg inside too…
below here is the Beef and Mushroom Pie ordered by Je Fu for sharing...
The Pies here are recommended by the Manager...
Chicken Maryland...
I was so dilemma to choose a dessert from the list.. I wished to try ALL… but I know I got no way to finish em… *sob..
At last, I chose the Fresh Fruit Crumble… wondering how fresh will it be.. it is made upon ordering…
It got the pineapple, papaya, peach and cant-remember-wut inside..
Served with Homemade Custard as well as Vanilla Ice Cream
It’s tasty.. but I still miss the one in Delicious, KL…
I m sure I will not order this if I were not having the 50% voucher..
A crumble like this costs RM 18.50 considers kinda pricey for me.. I expected it to be served in bigger portion.. but came in this little cup…

We were a bit rush.. as the last trip of cable car operates at 9.15pm…We hafta make sure we won’t miss that orelse all of us will have to take E.L. and have an overnite staying at Penang Hill d… ha ha
