Wesak Day..

19th May.. Wesak Day.. it's the burfday of the Buddha.. we went to the temple for blessing a day before Wesak day.. in order to skip the crowded situation..
people let the monks to do blessing after done the prayer to the Buddha.. mostly ppl will bring along the Siam poh to let the Monks to chant scriptures on it.. normally the monks will sprinkle some flower water on us for the sake of washing away those bad things.. and tie a lil rope on our hand for blessing and protection..

I not rily sure what is this for.. but knowing ppl will do some donation in exchanging a bowl of 1 cent.. and put in each of the blackey bowl.. guess it might for blessing as well..

use the flower-water to 'bath' the Buddha..is another way to do prayer.. people keens to take this flower-water home.. for showering as well as wiping over ur car and wutever as you like.. can say it as a way to wash over the bad lucks as well as bring along the protection and blessing..

Aaron got to try it too.. he was so happee.. ^^

can feel the seriousness of me..?? I got SO many things to pray, pray & pray.. for everyone... ^^

this is a combination of a bit a bit of everything.. hehe..
we chose the Porridge soup base/ Hoi Wong soup base.. itz sweet.. tastes not bad..
Onion + Taiwanese sausage Omellette.. sounds great, right..? It is!!! the most recommended spot of this rest... Teppanyaki area.. you can choose & mix wutever ingredients you like.. they'll fried it in teppanyaki style and send to your table.. the marinated meats taste very nice!! Honey beef & squid are highly recommended!! they go well wif heaps of vegie!!!


I like the Tong Shui dessert so much.. it has Ice-cream and some ready-to-eat foods as well... such as fried rice, maggie.. Mushroom chix leg.. Fried chix wings and some more... the fried stuff are nice !!!

surprised Wed nite

finally, huan-laO-pek has moved up to our team.. was out of our expectation.. as we thought he will come up only next week.. I was about to reply his msg tru IM, suddenly heard a familiar voice.. when I turned around, saw him standing at Ling's cube.. holding his laptop.. I couldn't help but laughed out.. haha..
15 mins later, my teamlead brought the new temp walking around for introducing... when I turned around.. I was freaked out.. it's EVE !! my skoolmate from TAR.. oh god.. even my manager hardly believe that.. she is another fren of mine!!! ha ha.. I meet 1 fren each day in Dell accurately since the day I joined.. *weEee...

I didn't go for yoga class today.. am feeling sick still.. thought of going home earlier and take some rest.. who knows.. when we were about to finish work.. Kooi Chyn invited me to join em for dinner.. the ISR of LCA was going to give her and Ivan a treat.. and I bo bo got to share the treat too.. very pai sei¬ :P

Cocktail of the day- Sprite, lime juice with Geraldine.. ( you can choose either this, coffee or tea.. )
Soup of the day - Chix, cream & spinach + Garlic bread
the choices for dinner are Cod or Tuna Fish.. I chose this Grilled Magura Steak w soy sauce & wedges.. the fish was fresh.. It cooked till just nice.. Ivan & I like it so much.. just something special, as Tuna is not in the menu normally... *recommended
Dessert of the day - Cheese Cream.. (I never heard of it before..we even thought it was a 'failed' mousse..) topped w Choc & strawberry sauce

breaky in da morning... ^^ healthy Oat w mixed dried fruits.. *see my bluebear also wants to eat..
nice gentleman bought me this waffle w peanut butter during tea time on tues.. ^^ thx... finally I gt to try the waffle from cafeteria.. it smell so gud.. I never tried this crispy waffle before.. thx gentleman asked em to make me a fresh 1.. but too bad the filling was far too little.. I couldn't rily taste my fav peanut butter... *grrrr ( mr Red head is dying to give a bite on it... )

Zinger & Vinegar Porridge (you get to choose from chix, pork or fish) It tastes quite nice.. especially when mixing up the egg with the porridge.. something special.. I like it.. zinger helps to solve my gastric prob.. ^^

this is the Dry-thin-noodle, served with another bowl of fish balls & chinese seaweed in clear soup.. Ikan bilis and peanut on top of the noodles... it goes nicer with the chilli paste..
Thick-noodles-in-soup.. the ingredients are the same..
the shop sells Dim Sum and chee cheong fun as well.. not to forget the Rojak & Fruits stall..

happee burfday in advance, Kooi Chyn..

Today.. our whole team plus some from others.. pre-celebrated burfday for Kooi Chyn, as she is going to give birth anytime.. he he.. I just found out that.. she is borned on the SAME day with my je fu.. same year, same month and same day.. ha ha.. a day earlier than my je je..
after so much discussion, they chose PastaSia at last..
the Set menu is really worth it.. as the portion is So big.. too much to finish all.. even if you happen to finish the 3-course-meal.. you'll find it so suffer up to few hrs..
I 'suffered' from it before.. thus, this time.. I didn't go for the Set.. but ordered the Ala Carte.. it's offering 'Buy 2 Free 1' for ala carte order as well..
Con Salmon.. Smoked salmon with caper in Cream sauce.. gOsh.. it been half a yr.. I never had caper d.. it is very good for health.. smoked salmon goes nice with it..
Chicken Schnitzer w chips.. It is offering in the set menu as well.. (Schnitzer in Aussie is nicer.... :P )
Many of em having the Set C.. which I recommended.. Con Pollo.. pasta with chix (alot of chix pieces) in cheesy tomato sauce.. + soup of the day + dessert + choice of drink for only RM17.90... the portion is getting bigger compared to the set I had wif Mung few weeks ago.. It's like a set for 2... gOsh.. eveyone claimed to be over-fulled after the meal..

actually the best deal.. I reckon is the Set for 4 pax.. RM69.90.. no one has ordered it.. but I believe it can be shared by 6 pplz tho.. he he

Blood Donation..

6th May'2008... Tues..
what a meaningful day for me...? :)
I went for blood donation !!!! by myself.. Mung and I have set it as a mission for us at the age of 18.. but so bad of her.. she went with my frens while I was having class one afternoon.. then asked me to go by myself the next day.. the kia-see me of course gave up to do so..
5 yrs later.. finally, I made it.. !!
I never noticed the Blood Donation Campaigne in Dell... this morning.. while I was so busy settling my tasks.. my teamlead asked me.. "interested for blood donation..? " I answered her YES with no hesitation... No doubt I was so scared at that time.. I afraid of taking injection kind of things... wutever that will cause me pain..
too bad, my teamlead is not allowed to donate due to her low blood pressure, left only Raye and I.. I was arranged to the last bed at the corner.. yet forgot to bring along my mobile.. nothing to distract me... :( it was pain.. but still

I MADE IT.. !!!

QEII

Last Sat.. ko ko given us a dinner treat at QE II.. he always told me the pizza there how nice and how nice.. after 4 mths.. finally he brought me there.. he he.. no doubt.. I was thrilled since the moment ko ko informed me for the dinner.. (whenever gt to hang out to anywhere.. I'm always the excited one.. I like hanging out.. I enjoy the moments... *weEee... ^^ )

** It is not Guinness !! We were actually having Kil Kenny, Ko's super Fav.. wondered why the barista filled it in Guiness pint glass.. totally out of feel... wasted !
I like the chandelier behind ko ko... we were busy browsing net wif the Wi-Fi..

the free refreshment serves once we were sitting down.. Rye Bran Bread dips w Vinegar & Olive Oil.. oh my.. I missed this type of serving so much.. hasn't had it since I left Aussie..

Je fu - Cilantro Mangrove J., Red Snapper Fish.. topped on mash potato and veggie..

mummy - Home Special Baked Salted Chix.. It looks beautiful when served.. tastes normal.. was so salty when you "accidentally taken" the salt outside the wrap..

Spagetti Seafood Ohio-Ohio.. as you seen, it's a Seafood combination Pasta... ko ko likes it so much.. it has Mussel, Prawn, Fish and Octopus... the portion is too big for a lady.. I supposed...
je je - Spagetti Carbonara ( there're 2 Carbonara Pasta.. one with Seafood, and this is the Traditional Bacon 1.. ) nice but.. will find it too creamy when you had too much.. I assumed the chef has accidentally over- added the Olive oil before serving it.. afterall, it tastes nice.. :)
daddy - Signature Crusty Lamb.. daddy likes the grilled Garlic so much.. I grabbed his spinach.. he he...

it has the nicest atmosphere with the beautiful sceneries.. I got no idea why it just lost itz crowd.. hmmm.... I won't want to party there.. But I would like to dine-in there again in the future...
