simple dinner at Yeng Keng Boutique Hotel

many weeks ago..

me and frens went dinner at Yeng Keng Boutique Hotel...

situated at Chulia Street, nearby 7-eleven

there are around 20 rooms, with price approximately rm 300 ++ per night...

we thought it's selling Hainanese Cuisine...

ended up reckon the varieties ain't a lot... should be Western + Eastern instead...

a bit pricey... as those foods ain't really special...

*********

we all agreed this is the yummiest dish of the nite...

Stir Fry Sliced Beef Egg Hor Fun, rm 15

the portion is big, sliced beef are tender and well-flavoured...

the gravy mixed well with the raw eggs..

alot of shallots on top to enhance the flavours...

Hai Nam Char, rm 10

Stir Fry Yellow Noodles with Chicken diced, prawn and some veggie...

shallots and fried onion sprinkled on top..

must have with the Belacan Sambal...

something similar like Hokkien Char....

Inchi Kabin, Fried Chicken...

not for my liking... the sizes of the chicken ain't really perfect.. a bit too small..

become less meat lotsa bones...

Chicken Chop RM 15... with heaps of fries and coleslaw

this is definitely not the Hai Nan Style...

it's like the normal Chicken chop with oriental sauce...

normal...

I just realized I lost the photo of the Fish & Chip.. rm 15

anyway, Vin had very bad experience with the fish & chip...

it didn't taste good...

very hard, till he simply use the fork to eat the whole piece of fish without cutting it into small pieces...

I refused to try... his comments are, hard + dry...
