Roti Bakar aka Toh Soon

been wanting to try the famous Roti Bakar at Campbell Street for years...

however... it was always struggling to wake up early on a weekend morning...

especially while you hang out late the night before...

even managed to get up early.. still lotsa must-eat-list to be fulfilled...

I had a fruitful and contented weekend...
which I gonna blog about in another post...

Saturday morning...

woke up by Whatsapp ringing tones unwillingly...
Eleen cio for Roti Bakar...

foods always the 'motivation' for me to get up from mah bed... *brush

went to this little lane at Campbell Street...

Toh Soon Coffee Stall

a very small lane occupied by all limited tables and chairs...
always customers that standing aside waiting for seats...

a coffee stall that selling breaky...

beverages, toast, nasi lemak and half-boiled eggs...

butters stock up into many boxes in the fridge...

we waited a while to get a table...

waited for another 20-30 mins to get someone to take orders for us...

pity Damien get scolded when he tried to walk near the stall for order taking...

what u need to do.. is just sit down, keep quiet...

grab the chance whenever someone passed by you...

he was too hungry to finish 2 packs of nasi lemak in less than 10 mins...

we just kill our times with cam whoring.. :P

another 20-30 mins...

our drinks served...

followed by the toast...

we order the common-Set

which is 2 half boiled eggs + butter kaya toast

I don't fancy butter since small only in love with Kaya Kaya and Kaya....

another 10-20 mins...

finally... half-boiled eggs served !!

I still prefer the toast from Hai Aun (click here for post) where filled my childhood memories...

they both getting breads from the same bakery @ Kedah Road...

bread toast with old style, by charcoal...

healthy breaky to kick start our weekend~ :)
