x'Mas 2009 with belOved families~

on x'mas eve mOrning..
ko ko asked me a question while he was busy ironing his shirt...
" do you like x'mas eve betta or x'mas day? "
It took me couple minutes to figure out da answer for such a simple question...
I said:
I used to love x'Mas eve.. as there would parties... happening events... activities like to countdown with whole bunch of frens...
but sadly saying.. as time goes by.. i think I prefer x'Mas day betta...
as being 3 yrs... i got no idea where to celebrate such a beautiful nite...
no longer have the big gang like last time to do crazie stuff together...
was it bcuz there's no new/great place to spend this moment in pg dat able to satisfy myself.. or just me being old? *question question*
I love x'mas day becuz i looking forward the gathering event that gonna have with family~

X-mas Day...

as usual...

we will have a family and frens xmas exchange house party yearly...

this year...

the venue been set at Carene's, on Xmas Day itself...

some little special thing carried out this year is the Red & Green theme colour for the nite...hehe...

we only prepared some easy foods..

as we din want to spend too much time on the preparation...

our purpose was just to enjoy-da-partay...

*Relax man~

as per request... daddy hafta cooked his signature salted fish bee hoon and belacan fried Chix Wings...

Carene prepared the pasta..

Annie cooked the Korean Glass noodles which was running out fast on that nite...and etc etc...

kids were crazily running around..

while the guys are busy playing mahjong..ladies... happily gossiping...

family gathering like this is always my L-O-V-E...

our gathering can never miss this session~ for the guysSss to kill time while the ladies are busy gossiping around~ :P

x'Mas eve dinner wif frens @ Ingolf -2009-

don't mind me to blog few posts bout 2009...

none-the-less... i don't think it's cool for me to just abandon em..

last-yr-x'Mas..

was it b'cuz I'm really getting old...?

as I was totally out-of-mood to celebrating this merry day at all..

or simply b'cuz it's really out of mah mind..

to think of a gudie cool place to spend this beautiful event...

I did not have any plan-in-advanced...

Mung and I just last-minute chosen a place to have a nice dinner together...

hate to pay extra just bcuz of it's Xmas...

we off to Ingolf..

knowing that they won't charge extra much but still serve yummie goodie foods...

we had luck..

to walk in at 8 ish...

and found a place for 4 around bar area... ^^

they served special Xmas Menu...

prices may be vary a bit from normal time..

but it's stil reasonable and agreeable...

we had chosen the cream soup for our entre..

Smoked Salmon with Carrots and Cucumber Soup..

it's very delicious indeed...

smoked salmon is always mah fav..

din know that it could be used to cook soup like this at all !!

will surely try it out someday... he he

Lamb Rack with homemade smashed potatoes and tomato Salsa

the lambs are so well-flavoured...

grilled till just nice...

meats are tender enough and remained juicy...

hemmmm.... nice 1...

Turkey and homemade Ham mixture...

Salmon and Fettucine in cream sauce..

the fish is so fresh.. and a big piece of it..

goes really well with the chef recipe cream sauce..

as usual.. the portion is huge...

4 of us ordered only ordered 3 main courses...

it still filled our stomach with no space... -_-

headgears given away~ ^^ only for ladies...

they served with this nice and cute napkins all-nite-long...

snowman-2009- from kimmie to mUng..

since f2... I've made it a tradition to buy mung a snowman on every x'Mas...

too bad.. I don't listen any nice jazz band performed on that nite...

but they decided to play some louder, noisier songs to go along with the party !!
