Traditional Porridge Stall in GeorgeTown

yo..I've been rily slowed down alot for blogging..

all due to the stewpig dunno-what-happened, that I always failed to uplaod a pic to my blog in office...
and now even worse.. the 'error msg' gonna pop up even when i tried to blog... =.="

and another thingy is i'm rily sick of my lay out..
so wanted to put it into a nicer way.. but totally no-idea 'where-to-start'..
apparently, i-am-leaving-it-till-dunno-when...

I believe many ppl are aware of the Traditional-Porridge Stall opposite Traders Hotel...
Mung and I been saying wanna tried it out since high school time, i supposed...

we never bring ourselves there, till couple of months ago...

stewpig and I stopped our car at the road side, on 1 weekend afternoon...

we chose our dishes and followed those uncles on how-to-squat...

it totally a different experience, diff taste...

taste, as in the taste of foods are really well done... and the way that how you enjoying the foods will also direct affect the " taste "... I lub this uncle... >.< their fried la la.. is something different from others...

they not cooking it with the Bean Paste but some-curry-paste which I believe might be their home special recipe...
I specially love this Minced Pork..
unlike the normal Steamed-Minced-Pork that we could order from any other Rice Stall...
it doesn't serve in pieces but just minced as how it is...
the meats are well-flavoured... homey taste... which is really fantastic..
Stir-Fried Cabbage... Nice indeed..
I supposed they do cook it with some sauteed-bean-curd ( Dao Ju ) , little to flavour it but not much...
this is something unavailable in many places... not a normal fried fillet...
but Shark Fish... which I love to bits...
I always have this kinda shark fillet from a Econ Rice Stall at XIA BUI...
this is nice... shark fish is always so smooth and soft... *winkz~
uncle served it with few drops of yummie soya sauce.... yum~ simple but super nice !! ^^

there're 2 porridge stalls in a row at that kopi Tiam...
both selling by super nice uncles, aunties, and of course yummie foods with reasonable to cheap prices...
the most traditional one, on the left corner, is with the oldest history...
they have limited dishes, which i supposed are fix on every business day... but all are extremely nice and are favourite of every customer...
the 2nd stall, which situated and the center of the kopi tiam, is available with more dishes, more choices...
last but not least, I must highlight that they sell Super Delicious Soups... !!
they offer 6 varieties of soups Everyday...
their soup is really a Must-Try... without any expensive high-end ingredient but they could simply cook out such a great taste of soup... Awesome !!
Our all time favourite, which really makes us miss it every-single-day...
Radish Soup... it cooked with pork leg, pork belly and cuttle fish...
It 's just so Well-Flavoured !! with such a big serving, only cost us RM 3 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
oh my... where else can you get such a big bowl of soup with such a incredible cheap price !!

even if you're eating at the white-hair-uncle-stall, they allow us to order over the soup too...
something i like here so much, is their Friendiness....
not only to their customer... but you can see the frenship between them...

they don't dislike each other for competing on business, but help each other to promote or even collect the dishes and etc etc...

if you think squating there is way too harsh or not polite.. can actually order to the kopitiam.. and dine-in at the normal table and chair...

but we just like experiencing with another way of eating at road side... =P

in order for myself to balance up... uncle purposely brought me this little stool... asked me to step on it.. while I was sitting up high on 2 stools...

pls bear with me... >.<
you can just take wutever you want, pour watever gravy you like to your bowl of porridge like this...
yeah.. some people may think it's abit not hygiene... but aiks.. i'll just think " who cares? " hehe

I think this is definitely 1 of the 'tourist-spot' that should bring along those frens from overseas.. some different experience that is not available in other places...
they're selling so cheap is because their major customers are those Trishaw Uncle...
and you can now understand why there are tools that prepared for those uncle to squat as their usual habits...

the 1st left corner stall is closed on every Mon - Wed... and opens even on Sunday...
the 2nd center stall which selling Delicious soup is closing on Sunday...
