Love & Bites Fusion Cuisine

Another newly opened restaurant in the heart of Georgetown...

Located at Nagore Road, between La Mei Zi & Pik Nik... We have the nice ambience eat-out place selling fusion foods...

Today is the 1st day opening ( 29th July' 2012 )... Soft launching to test run... But we already saw numbers of customers walking in... Some knowing from Facebook... Some are just walk-in of random passer-by...

Running by the owners of Chan Brothers... Needless to explain much, famous enough in Penang...

medium space with nice ambiance

specially like the built-in-sofa... lazy person like me... always will grab it before anyone occupied... hehe...

the house playing mostly relaxing Jazz Oldies...

and I love...   :)

walk in further, there are second part of the restaurant which is totally different concept from the front... 

I kinda love the concept... the furniture is unique...

but, it gonna slightly hotter if sitting inside here...

They're selling Fusion Cuisine, as the shop's name tells...

from Snacks to Appetizer, Main, Desserts, Beverages, quite a long list of varieties... 

they selling several types of Homemade Quiches ! 

I so can't wait to re-visit and try out their Quiches...

I just Love it~~~

they don't have much choices for Coffee... only Mocha / Tiramisu and one-more-which-I-can't-recall...

but few types of special Tea...

I had Aloe Vera Tea, served in Hot / Cold...

get to eat the little pieces of Aloe...

slight sweet but not too sweet... I like it...  :)

I so love it's Heart-handle...~

fren of mine highly recommended their Yogurt Drinks...

and no doubt... 

I give them a double-thumbs-up...

it won't be too sweet but just nice...

there's a special one - Mint Yogurt...

I'm not a Mint-person, but I reckon it sounds quite special... heard actually not bad...

so wanted to bring home...

my fren told me, they have lips-shaped-bowl sumore ~!! 

Chicken Schnitzel with Japanese Mashed Potatoes and Side Salad in Balsamic Sauce 

it's something very different from all the Chic Schnitzel I usually found in Aussie...

used to be big piece of deep fried breaded boneless chicken, cheese melted on top filled with tomato paste + ham slices in between...

on the menu, Chicken or Pork available for your choice...

they served as picture shown, 4 big slices instead...

 I supposed they mixed chopped chicken with extra ingredient like herbs, peas / potato maybe and reshape it  before deep fried...

something special from the house apart from the tradition.. 

it reminds me of Falafel... I believe they might share similar recipe / ingredients   :)

overall, I found it quite nice and speical... 

portion might not be fulfilling enough for guy as Main.. but good as a sharing portion among frens...  :)

Vietnamese Paper Rolls

Vietnamese Rice Paper Wrap with Thai Basil, Black Fungus, Cucumber, Pickle Papaya and Shrimp served with Vietnamese Hot Dips and Side salad...

the dipping sauce tastes like Thai Chilli Sauce...

I would suggest those that cant take the aroma of Basil better don't go for it...

like my fren, ordered then reckon it got the Basil leaves that he hates so much... 

left the whole plate for us to finish it !

Overall, it's nice and pretty in serving too   :)

so lovely and effort, they even provide small stalk of Lemon Grass to 'spoon' the sauce so too add on more flavor for the dish... *marks added   :)

as mentioned above, they served a varieties of Homemade Quiches...

can pick from the fridge near the counter...  :)

they imported this Japanese Bottled Beer, selling at rm 20++ per bottle...

I yet try out, but heard the feedback is quite not bad...

and not available in most places here in Penang...

shall try out...

Shop named as Love & Bites, you can see a lot of Cupids / Angels deco around the restaurant..

will definitely re-visit for more foods...

when I was 10, I know this girl in Pancaragam...

not much interaction, as I was playing Clarinet while she was in percussion...

happened to be in the same class again at Form 2...

I supposed we started to get closer towards the end of the year...

after that year, she transferred to Boarding School in Perth for her studies...

we did catch up when she backed for holidays, I still remember she wrote me little notes sent all over from Perth...

something I felt really bad was, I always unable to make it for her Open House when she's backed for holidays... be it family trip or must have something on hand forced me to ppk her...  :P

many many years later...

July 2006...

I entered a new path in my life, to further my studies in Melbourne... 

and we became Housemates !!!!!!!!

she was staying in the center of city at an Awesome Apartment while me and Eunice were staying in Suburb...

she always come and ' rescue ' us out to explore the city during weekend...

sometimes we took train to city and had a swim at her condo... she drove us back to suburb after dinner...

after a sem, on 7th Nov' 2006, my 21st burfday...

finally, Eunice and I decided to move to city and since then, we became housemates !!!   :D

I wore this to visit you the other day, wondering if you aware of it...  :P

throughout the 18 months, we encountered alot of ups and downs, happy and sad together... 

all of those were good memories...

we done alot of stupid things...

it became triplet aka 908 ! 

our fav things to do must be " hae " 

wandering around at random cafe... 

gossip or doing our fav activity --> Fang Kong

lala studied Photography, and her uni was just a road down from where we stayed...

when we got nothing to do, we go kacau at her studio...

zho siao a bit...   >.<

or helping out some times lah... 

alot of hang outs... too many photos and I only managed to pick few to mention in this post...

too little space to tell a story of a 16+ yrs of friendship...  

we had an unforgettable Sydney Trip...

only 3 of us known the best...

it was a 'great' experience....

we purposely went down for Justin Concert...

I would never delete it and will maintain as long as I managed...    :)

during long weekend, we gonna find some 'activities' to kill our mou liu'ness...

our gang always expanded...

Lala, you've left us peacefully...

I visited you everyday at hospital, seeing you getting weaker day by day... 

but I knew you Heard whatever I talked to you...

been many times, I can feel you tried all effort to open your eyes or even tried to response me...

I'm sure you got ALOT to talk to me ! I knew it !! and you know what I meant... hehe

Before you went SG, we were said to catch up again after you backed from your trip... 

the last talk box msg you sent me while you were in SG, we yet finished our conversation.. 

but we all known you've tried all your best...

you're such a Tough and Strong girl in our eyes...

you've gone thru so many stages of ups and downs in your life... 

all the treatments without crying a word of 'pain' ... you gained our respect... *salute ! 

such a happy and positive fren of us...

know what, I glad that I was there during your toughest moment on Wed... 

I felt you, when you held my hands tight... I m grateful that I managed to share the pain with ya...

I was so happee when you responded and talked to me on that night !!! 

I know you heard all the audio notes & talk box I played to you, and messages from far that I read out to you...
