Delicious, Alexis - Bangsar Village

2nd day...
we woke up at 11ish...
get ourselves prepared, picked up Mung & Kelvin...
reached Bangsar Village almost 3pm...
took LONG time to find a parking space...
ended up parked at the indoor carpark with expensive parking fees...
we were starved... I will definitely pass out if we take few more minutes to look for parking space...
can't decide to dine in at Delicious or Alexis.. since both of them are in my must-eat-list in this trip..
at last, Delicious won~
according to Mung, a lot of local celebraties like to dine in at Delicious, bangsar..
it was full-housed and we met a local DJ/ VJ seated few tables from us...
Caffe Latte with Biscotti...
the coffee aroma freshed up our day... my fav ILLY coffee that they're using... mMmm ^^
we asked for more Almond biscotti, and the nice waiter brought us 2 little cups with more than 10 biscotti... ^^
F.O.C.
I can't resist from the varieties of dessert,
therefore, I didn't order for the main course, and go ahead for the dessert...
Banana & Peaches Crumble, served with a scoop of Vanilla Ice-cream...
*heaven~
most of the waiter/ waitress recommended the Apple & berries Crumble..
but I tot the banana & peaches is special.. apple is more common that available at most places..
and I've made a right decision..
this is so nice~ and of cause it won't be that sweet as berries do...
Luckily I didn't order any main or appetizer..
otherwise, I got no idea how am I going to finish them... ^^
Spagetti Carbonara by Kelvin...
a lot of bacon...
and plenty pieces of Parmesan slices on top of the pasta..
creamy and yummy~

Spicy Crab Linguine
I can't recall what's the veggie called, but it's something like Rockette...
with bitter flavour...
pity Mung has to pick em up one by one.. in order not to spoil her pasta..
afterall.. it's nice... and fresh~
The Pine Nuts simply attracted me !! so nice..
but I really can't stand the smell of crab meat...
every mouthful of pasta consists of crabmeats....

Delicious Signature Masala Lamb Shank

once we entered the restaurant..
we can see every 5 from 10 tables do have orderes this..
no doubt.. this is really nice..
see there are Pine Nuts again !! with raisin sumore !! *weEee... he he
the rice has beautiful aroma... not normal white rice... not nasi lemak.. just dunno what type/ flavor of rice is it.. but it goes so well with the curry...
the lamb is SO tender and well-flavoured... it's huge and have a lot of meat...
we were struglling to finish it...
unfortunately, the Papadum is not crunchy at all.. not nice...

The ladies, one from England, another one is Canadian... they were so nice that offered to help us to take a pic in front of 'Delicious'
they were so surprised when knowing that we are from Penang...
they both follow their husband to KL for business...
both of them met each other in Penang, Bt Feringghi 3 years ago..
after that trip, they will catch up once in a while somewhere in KL...
this gathering would be the last meet up for them, as one of them is leaving to HK in a week times... (her husband has been transfered to HK... )

We met ko ko at Alexis during tea-time..
he came down to kl in the morning for a meeting, will be leaving at dinner time...
we were not to have high-tea here, in facts, ko ko has yet had his lunch... and he is so so so missed his little lobster pasta ~

toasted bread with Olive Oil & Balsamic Vinegar...
simply Best~ ^^

Yappies with Angel Hair Olio
koko always crazies with Pasta Aglio Olio... which mainly cooked with Olive Oil & pepper flakes,
no sauce no cream no cheese...
but this is not that common in M'sia..
so far, we don't see it available in most of the restaurant in Penang..
Seafood Olio-Olio Pasta in QE II is one of koko's favourite...
the angel hair looks so much like Wan Tan Mee...
ha ha.. we seldom see Angel hair available at most restaurant too...
guess many ppl not really familiar with it too..
it's the type of pasta that thinner than Spagethi... je's favourite choice..
some people do not like it... but we reckon the thin'ness makes us feel not that full compared with other type of pasta...
babie lobsters in Olio is simply best~

Strawberry Cheese Cake for myself~ *winkz~
so smooth.. so nice.. so yummie~~

Coffee Island, Gurney Drive

Coffee Island, Gurney Drive...
finally it is ready to served...
suggested je je to dinner here... since Raye's bf said the foods here are quite nice...
thought of giving it a try...

no doubt, the foods are alright.. but the services were simply disappointing me...
I was so looking forward to try out the food... and they gave me this...
Stewpig and I arrived later than daddy them... a Malay/ Indo girl came to take order from us...
during the process, I already got a bit upset... I just wanted to order a Warm Water.. but I repeated five times... from ' warm water, hot water, water, air suam, ' until my sis told her 'air panas' than she responded ' OK OK'
I repeated my orders to her thrice and she too repeated my orders for confirmation.. and I thought Everything will go well...

I kept waiting and waiting until everyone has finished their meals.. I couldn't find the girl that taking order from us.. since she ain't the one took orders from my family, thus the paper on top didn't write down her name.. and I seek for another waitress..
after checking, the waitress returned, apologized and told me... MY ORDER HAS NOT PLACED !!
I was really pissed.. since both of us had repeated the orders for couple of times, sumore on the order sheet, I can see the girl 'CIRCLE' and 'TICK' my orders.. I wonder how on earth could she not key in my orders??
not only for my main course, she didn't even send me my Warm Water which I had repeated to us more than 5 times !!
I was upset, and wanted to leave... it was already 9 ish.. I didn't feel like waiting for another 20/30 minz to have my meal there... since I knew I will not enjoy at all...

and there happened another pissed thingy... we waited for SO long to get our bill... (we sit really near to the counter) until my parents and sis could no longer wait and left stewpig and I to wait for the bill there...
We could see Many of their workers gathered at the counter to dunno-do-wut... not attentive to the customer at all...
after they Finally brought us our bill... we gotta wait Again for our change !!!
They have A LOT of workers there... but for me...as a consumer point of view... it's so pointless to hire SO many workers whom are Not Attentive at all...
this will only piss ur customers even more...
I wonder if anyone has experienced the same shitty services from there too...?

the fruit juices served in a big glass like this...

they looked beautiful.. I like this kind of straw~ ^^
bu it look nice only..
when taste it.. a bit clear.. I doubt they just add plenty of water to fill up the tall glass... I don't like fruit juice with water!
I still prefer Aussie Fresh Squeeze Pure Fruits Juice !

Beef Brisket Noodle

The soup is nice! but not for Stewpig's liking.. as he said it tasted something like Wan Tan Soup... no doubt.. the soup is far to taste like the tradition Beef soup... 牛腩汤... I guess they didn't cook it with the chinese white radish... it gonna make a huge diff tho...

Nasi Belacan... it looks nice.. taste not bad too...

Nasi Lemak - Beef Rendang w Nasi tomato...
the taste of the rendang is not bad... but wonder why the tomato rice is not in redish colour but brownish instead...
we cudn't taste any tomato flavour tho..
overall the nasi lemak set is not too bad.. just a bit dry...
like the foods just came out from the Oven or Microwave.. bit dry...
A number of variesties for the Nasi Lemak.. have the chicken, lamb and etc...

Seventies, Latin Coffea @ UPR

a newly opened cafe at UPR... the fourth shop from Sega...
It's a Old-Town-Concept type of cafe... selling cheaper coffee, Roti Bakar and varieties of foods...
It's owned by Je fu's fren...
Je Fu was in-charging the design and renovation for parts of the shop...

been listening bout it for quite some times.. finally it's ready for business...
Je Fu bought us lunch on Saturday noon...
they have the Set Lunch Promo... Free selected drinks with any Main Course...
the range of the free drinks are coffee, choc and selected Tea... of cuz not including the Smooties...

the Nasi Lemak is yum yum !! I would say it is a lot nicer than the one from Old Town...at least, everything from here is fresh & hot... even the rice has nice fragrance... Chix Drumstick is tender and well-flavoured...

Black Pepper Chicken Chop

Asam Laksa... hmmm.. I don't really like it.. it tastes more towards the Malay Laksa... and they add egg sumore... erm... not for my liking...

Latin Coffea... their house coffee... something like White Coffee.. but nicer, I reckon...
and the back one is the Enriched Chocolate, for those who doesn't take caffeine...

Nanyang Brewed Coffee... a big cup of it...

Roti Bakar w Kaya & Butter... quite nice to go with the Black Coffee.... ^^

Finger food - mini sausage for little Aarom...

I missed to take a photo of the Koay Teow Th'ng that ko ko had... he said not bad...
Overall, the foods there are really not bad... at least better than Old Town? which Stewpig very bias to...
the Old-Old-Town.. served nice foods and beverages..
but not the Old Town we see from most of the places...
always served un-fresh foods... like cold & nearly sawgy bread... no more crispy.. Iced drink that topped with Iced-Water... ( water melted from the Ice ) and etc etc...

Trois Canon Cafe @ Chulia Street

Been passing by this cafe for years... always have a thought that ' it can survive for so long, must have some reasons... '  wa...
