what I done in Tsim Tsa Tsui

this is about Harbour City Shopping Complex in Tsim Tsa Tsui
there are some must-try-thingies over there !!

M-a-c-a-r-o-o-n-s

I'm kinda a fans of it !!
barely find any in Penang... tho heard KL does have, but I never tried before...

I had it once in 2009, bought at HK Time Square...
and I missed it !!
this trip... stewpig got a half dozen for me !! which costs him HKD 120 !!!

Jean Paul Hevin, name came after a French manufacturer of high-end chocolate.
everything selling at the stall is so costly !
the little packing of ONE piece nuts chocolate costs HKD 40 or more

after I got stewpig to have a little bite on it, he asked " do u think we shall buy another six home? "
the creme melted in his mouth, melted his heart at the same time !
he started to love it too !!!

I love it's Macaroons so so much !! it's nicer than the one I had in Aussie !! the price tells all !

***************
next...
it's a high-tea place nearby one of the side-entrance of Harbour City...
I forgot the name...
but it's an open place serving high-tea, and great pastries...
we walked up to check out the price...
so embarrassed that,
the waitress told us the cakes are only for dine-in...
to take away,
pls check out the shop next door...
the moment I walked in,
I adore all the cakes and patries there...

the price tells the qualities...
I couldn't afford to spend HKD 520 for a Blueberry cheese cake...
thus, stewpig bought me the little slice instead...
in fact, he finished almost the whole piece in no time...
he could die for it !
*thumbs -up
if not mistaken..
the mini Raspberry tart is about HKD 9 each..
and it WORTH !!
the custard straight away melted the moment entering my mouth !
above were happened on the 5th day morning..
whereas below were about the 3rd nite~
we were starving and rushing...
in order to save up the times for looking up good restaurant..
we decided to settle our dinner at the foodcourt...
and
we reckon we have made a very right decision...
(:
I seriously miss the korean cuisine !!!
I had Kimchi spicy Pork with glass noodles and rice..
while ko ko had the Kimchi Pot Noodle...
both were delicious !!!
around HKD 40 - 50 each...
portion is huge !
stewpig, who never fancy of korean foods...
told me he missed it too !!
super big portion of Yong Zhao Fried Rice with Shrimps and bacon..
***************
walked around the jetty after dinner~
je fu fav herbal drinks~

we smell it from far away...
kept guessing where the smell came from... till we saw this stall...
no doubt, the taste of the Cuttlefish is as nice as the smell !
great !
Cayden is so farney...
right after I took above pic...
he ran over stood at where I was, tried to post like me and got us to take a photo of him !
we were so surprised and can't stop laughing !
after dat, he said he wanted to take 'pic' of his fav mummy...
after he 'thought' he has done, he 'asked' the metal guy to show him...
and of course, the statue won't give him a damn...
he kept pulling his ear, and scolded him naughty...
told us he is so bad, cuz doesn't wanna show him his mummy's pic !

he ran back to kick him somemore when we trying to walk away...

he is just so cute...
kiddo is so innocent~ :)

***************
half an hr before 7th Nov,
we planned to get some beers and cup noodles at the 7 eleven opposite our hotel (Metropark Mongkok) with pyjamas !! wahahaha
Cayden cheers me with my fav Asahi when the clock ding at 12:00~
it's Kimmiez buRfday~ ^^

cont‘ Hong Kong Trip 之旺角篇

cont' mah HK tRip~

the second day morning...
we made our move to Hong Kong !!!

taken ferry from Macau Jetty to HK Central...
the journey takes around an hour per trip... quite pricey...

ko ko had his favourite cup noodles on the ferry...
Pork Ribs flavour Nissin cup noodles..

really recommended !!

bit unlucky...
during the first few days of our trips..
the weather was damn bad...
rainy days caused our ferry trip take longer time to board... very unstable...
there were thunderstorm, big wave, heavy rain during that time...

gosh...
we took taxi to our hotel, Metropark Mongkok..
very convenient hotel, with reasonable price...
friendliness services plus great location~
refer here or here for recommended website to book hotel
**********
we walked to Mongkok for lunch....
we all were starving... -_____- ""

ko ko spot this huge sausages by the road side..
which is really damn nice !!!

on such a rainy weather...
best to have soupy foods~~

过桥米線 , China Mee Suah, which highly recommended by Raye...
there are few outlets in Hong Kong...

we customise our own menu...

1) chose the soup based
2) spicy / non-spicy
3) ingredients

ko ko ordered the original 过桥米線 ( direct translate - cross over bridge mee suah )
can see from the pic that..
the mee suah is putting in a separate bowl from the pot of soup...
so do the ingredients in another separate plate...
ingredients such as 3 squil eggs, ham, cocktail sausages, squid and veggie...

shameful to say that, stewpig & I can't even finish a bowl of it...
B-U-T

the bowl of noodles that this young lady having is SO FULL...
the portion is a lot bigger than ours...
I wonder how is she going to finish it !!

stewpig bought this super huge Sesame Ball...
which I know it's famous in HK.. had in Aussie before...
it's empty inside... with no filling at all..
quite nice.. worth a try~

**********

once done our lunch...
ladies proceed the shopping spree at Mongkok Centre !!!
that's what I waited for~~~~

fellow guys were waiting us for hrs at my fav 許刘山 !!!
damn pity actually...

by da time we out from the plaza... already nite time~~ :'(

next, proceed to Sport Shoes Street~

Woman Street~

meeting up with Carene, Fanne, Ryan and lil Renee....

Little Lamb 小肥羊 Steamboat , the best choice on such a rainy cold day~
the Mongkok outlet just re-opened after renovation...
it extended to 3 floors now...
even though, we still hafta wait for the super long queue...
the half-price-promo used to have previously, is no longer offer...
*************
we go for both Spicy Soup and Herbal Soup !!
I love the herbal non-spicy soup to bits !!! well-flavoured !!

handmade Beef Ball, Prawn Ball

娃娃菜 , Wa Wa Veggie is highly recommended... so sweet~
we tried it during our last visit last year (click here) and in love with it...
mummy likes it so much, kept repeat ordering it !!

Fish, Shrimp ball...

yummeh Lamb Ball

the ju kok !!! Signature Thinly Sliced Lamb and Beef
we were smart this round...
instead of ordering few portion of it...
I ordered only 1 big platter of combination Beef & Lamb slices
HKD 250 - 350

je's fav Deep Fried Fish Skin...
its nice to eat just like it or deep into the soup !

on da way back to our hotel...
the super convenient hotel which is just walking distance from the place we had dinner ...
and we saw this !!!

-end of 2nd day-

Trois Canon Cafe @ Chulia Street

Been passing by this cafe for years... always have a thought that ' it can survive for so long, must have some reasons... '  wa...
