CameRazZz...

couple of months ago...
stewpig told me that, his granny used to be a professional photographer...
he helped people took potrait photos...
he took photos of Penang bridge... I guess, he could be the top list famous photographer in Georgetown in 50 years backed?
I was so mad when he told me.. his granny used to have a series of cameras collection...
unfortunately, his uncles & aunties had Thrown them Away when moving house few years ago...
yes they Thrown Away them...
I wonder why didn't they cheap sell the unique cameras to the camera shop.. there are still so many ways to settle them... but not throwing away them in good conditions...

a night after many many weeks... he made a call to me...
and told me there was a surprise to me.. I will get very excited indeed when I know it...
the next day, early morning... he showed me a mini old camera when he got to my house...
I was delighted...
he then showed me a big dusty box in his car... oh my... the box is fulled with unique cameras, lenses and equipments...
he just found out, his dad has kept some of the cameras for himself when they 'clearing' his granny's collection...
so.. here it goes.... :)

Honda City i-Vtec

15th Dec, 2008...
Honda City i-Vtec officially launching on 18th Dec, 2008...
but how will stewpig not going to have a look at his new babie when knowing the show car already reached the show house...? -impossible-
he made calls to hOnda every single day to check the status... WM given him priority to 'touch' da car before the official launching...
3 days before launching, we already made our way to Butterworth hOnda...
no doubt, his new babie is Fab...
I never like this kind of car, but it does catch my attention too.. the space is wide enough.. many little secret place to 'hide' thingie... (so suit us, people-who-bring-lotsa-stuffie-when-going-anywhere... ) Stewpig always thinks that the empty space below the passengers seat that designed to keep shoes is meant for my heels... :P
not much fancy designs, but smart and cool...
the "S" gear (Sports) and Paddle Shift are simply amaze us.... ^^
too bad... we're not allowed to test drive the car yet, due to their agreement btw hOndaz...
thus, we sat on and 'pretended'

the engine is build a distance from the steering...
Salesman said, there were some feedback from H.JAzz drivers that the noise from the engine is very irritating, thus they built it further out a bit this time...

see how HUGE is the space...
for old city, the boot already able to contain 500litre, which considered very wide,
but this new series.. the size has been upgraded to 506 litre...

all New City in M'sia will be manufactured in 2009... thus, he would hafta wait for few more weeks... sigh~
see here for more details...
10th Jan' 09
the important date for mRstewPig...
supposed his car was ready on 8th Jan' 09...
only 50 cars that available from this hOnda branch.. (Jayamas) and I believe stewpig's city is the first few one that driving on the road...
all we have to thanks je je for her big help in order to let stewpig got to place at the top 10 in the list...
since they gonna send his car for waxing on the next day...
we decided to take the car on 10th, Saturday should be a better day~ ^^
babie likes the car too *weEee~
stewpig signed the last contract before bringing back his 1023... ^^

Special Famous Curry Mee, Ayer Itam Market

we went to do prayer for Gong Gong at Kek Lok Si Temple...
itz been quite a while since the last visit to there... kinda miss gong gong... thus, suggested to 'visit' him on this beautiful Sunday...

As usual, after Kek Lok Si... we will have our breaky at Ayer Itam Market... our famous Curry Mee Stall...

the auntie is very old.. but still very Cute and nice~ ^^
I guess this is the last and only one Curry Mee stall in Penang... it doesn't sell at a normal hawker stall but auntie carries the bamboo baskets like old time... stall sets up by the road side...

people sits on the little stool surrounding the 'stall'... we hafta squat and eat the yummie curry mee under the hot but healthy morning Sun... this will certainly makes the food become more delicious... won't it..?

I believe daddy and uncles have been visited old auntie's curry mee during their very young age... even before I was borned...
therefore, me too been visiting this stall since kindergarden, or perhaps younger...

auntie is so cute, purposely held on the post for me to take a pic of her...
the specialty of her curry mee is the Marinated Cuttle Fish.. its gravy certainly made its soup reached the MAx yummie level...

beside CurryMee, auntie does actually sell Economic Fried Bee Hoon too... it's Amazing to have the fried bee hoon in Curry Mee soup !! oh my~
too bad.. the fried bee hoon always sold out very early.. apparently, I didn't get to have it ... *sniff~

the curry mee doesn't have thick coconut milk aroma.. much clearer compared to others... no prawn, no any fancy ingredient but the gravy from the marinated cuttle fish given it the sweetness taste...

today, when I was browsing tru some food blogs, I found this blog writing about auntie's curry mee... was surprised... ^^ see how famous is it..?
je je is having her 2nd bowl~

we didn't sit at auntie's stall... I can't bare to holding the hot bowl and squating at the stall... guess I will drop the bowl before I finish my mee... but it's really a cool experience to eat in squating pose beside a river... I would give it a go during my next visit... :P we seated at the kopi stall opposite...

this auntie used to sell Hokkien Mee which is very nice too...
recently, she sells English Breakfast too...

it looks tempting huh...

after meal, I must go to the bakery along the main road !!

breads are always so fresh and special in variesties... it opens at 4/5am daily..

they offer varieties of healthy bread.. such as wholemeal/ multigrain/ black sesame and etc etc.. which are all so nice....

I wish to try this Mango Tart whenever I passed by this signboard... See how tempting is this...

Gong Chi Cook-Fried, Cantonese Style

It's been quite a while since the last time I had dinner at this place...
remember my old-tym, working in SegaFredo... few of us always came here for dinner after worked... mornign shift la of course...
this mini-restaurant is located at the flat behind Dai Tong Dim Sum...
has some histories though...
I always felt that I've got back to the time of KUNG-FU while sitting there surrounding by the buildings of flats..

it was getting rain before the foods served.. thus, we moved in... tho I still prefer sitting out-door and imagine myself is situated at the flat-lotz in KungFu....

lil mOnster is always so excited... -faint-

they don't offer much varieties, not something really special.. just a normal Cook-Fried Stall... I like it b'cuz of the hOmey feel, hOmey style... -Cantonese Cuisine- ^^

Sweet & Sour Pork...

Stir-Fry Beef with Ginger and Spring Onion... something really special is... they fried it with EGG !!! it makes the beef become so so smooth... so Delicious !!
we're impressed with their idea of cooking it with egg... as daddy likes to order this dish... been tried it at numbers of places and it was the first time we had it with egg !!

*highly recommend!!

Himalayan Birkin, Hermes

What a news...??

my man, DavidBeckham given Victoria a Himalayan Birkin, Hermes as a X'mas presie which costs £80,000... !!!!!! It cost £10,000 more than a flat up for sale in Victoria’s home town of Harlow, Essex. Nearly a week’s pay for Becks!!

oh my.. my dream bag.. the price for the normal collection already killing me... never mind this Himalayan Birkin which is named after British-born French actress JANE BIRKIN and has hundreds of diamonds, including a three-carat sparkler on the lock, Croc skin in 30cm...

Victoria showed this gOrgeous babie to the world when Becks made his debut for AC Milan in Dubai...

Customers must wait six years for some Birkin pieces. The waiting list for the Himalayan is closed — and those already on it have to wait four years and Becks sorted the gift in LA from one of the few powerful fashion buyers who could get one...

one of the most luckiest woman in the world~
I"M ENVY *.*

Beckham is Fab, Victoria is Fab... the bag is Fabulous !!!

Canton-i, Queensbay Mall

Knowing that Canton-i is opening on 9th Jan, 2009… without hesitation, we give it a go during our lunch time today… (Qbay, Ground Floor, Central Zone, next to KFC)
The design is grand and nice… I doubt they've taken up 3-4 shops for this restaurant...

Looking at the menu, the varieties of foods and beverages simply impressed us..
Due to the time limitation, we forced to make up our minds and placed order in a quick pace… then only we studied the menu more details and chose the foods-to-order during our next visit… (believe me, you would want to visit again even you still haven’t tasted the foods, the pictures given you the ‘confidents’)

No doubt the foods are a bit pricey.. imagine they're the sister company of Dragon-i… =.= but the portion is pretty big, and foods are Delicious…
Simply satisfied our appetite… so.. it's OK~
The waitress told us they’re famous with their Porridge/ Congee… my eyes go *bling once heard that… and quickly ordered 1 to try…
There’re more than 10 varieties for the porridge… Fish, Chix, Seafood ABALONE, Birdnest and etc…
No 29 & 30 are cool ! available for people to customize for own liking… 2 or 3 ingredient as you like…
I had the Sliced Fish & Pork Ball Congee
The raw fish served in separate plate… so that the thin sliced fish won’t be broken due to over-cooked…
The congee is so smooth, it cooked with the dried scallop… could imagine how sweet and tasty is it yeah…
The homemade pork ball is huge and nice… very special flavoured… I doubt the ingredient is not only minced pork but with something else that I don’t know… :P it’s really nice… so soft, tender, and a bit juicy….. ^^
after reading the introduction on the menu... knowing that the chef is using the combination of grain from Austalia, Japan and Indian to make out this special recipe of smooth congee... no wonder.....
Stewpig had the Beef Brisket Wan Tan Noodle
The texture of their homemade noodle is quite nice – thin with a slight bite, the beef brisket is so tender and well-flavoured…
Have a mounthful of noodle topped up with some chilli oil… oh my.. so yummie….

Eve & Raye ordered the Honey Roasted BBQ Pork & Roasted Duck Wan Tan Mee
The BBQ Pork is well roasted with a layer of Honey at the outer skin… the meat served in thick slices, tasted so juicy and nice…
Eve take away the Roasted Pork Belly Wantan Mee for her sis…
Her sis said the Roasted Pork is very well roasted as well… the outer skin is so crispy while the meat is soft and nice !
For desserts, Stewpig ordered the Lotus in Milk with Ginger Sauce 莲子姜汁撞奶.. it costs RM 8.00 per little bowl…
It’s considered expensive… for me.. but no doubt it’s really nice and special..
As seldom can find this dessert in M’sia… which is so famous in HK…
The milk is so so smooth…. I guess they’ve added egg white during the steaming process to make it even smoother…
It goes well with the ginger sauce…
Once stewpig has had his first try on it, he reckon I gonna like it very much… In fact, I am… but for those who can’t really take ginger, won’t like it… ( Eve & Raye found it a bit weird… ~.~ )
Ginger stuff always make my windy tummie feels good… but I think the Lotus is a bit bitter for me liking… :P

Stewpig taken away the Coconut Mango Mochi Dessert, RM6.00.. which I think is really not worth... it just a thin later of mochi wrapped over the mango pieces... taste So So... as the mango is not sweet... :`(

Beverages…
Eve ordered a special flower tea…
named as Seven Belle Tea 七仙女… which is a combination of JAsmine Tea & Green Tea, RM 5.00 –unlimited re-filling
the stalk of Flower tea leaf will grow bigger and bigger after staying in water for longer…
So beautiful and miracle… :P

Raye had their homemade soya bean, RM 3.50 (despite plain water, it's the cheaper drink in the menu...)… erm.. taste OK.. not sweet which is good… :P

typical Hong Kong Chilli Oil... which I reckon it's nice... without dried shrimp nor ikan bilis.. just the dried chilli itself and the oil... not really hot... goes really well with the WanTan Noodle... :P
(but I still missed the Chilli Oil from Nam Loong HK Coffee House in Melbourne, which has the Ikan Bilis in it.. I can cleared 3 plates+ of it without any dish.. just the chilli itself... :P )

Abalone BBQ Pork Pastry... don't freaked out and excite by seeing the cheap price with the name 'abalone'... it is just the shape alike Abalone... still a normal BBQ Pork Pastry afterall...

Eve & Raye insisted to take away their famous EggTart for tea time… 3 for RM 5.00They said it’s nice… and the price is a bit cheaper than Wong Kok as well yeah…

Trois Canon Cafe @ Chulia Street

Been passing by this cafe for years... always have a thought that ' it can survive for so long, must have some reasons... '  wa...
