After visiting Ah Ma at the hospital.. 5 Cik, 5 Jim and gr joined us for dinner...
daddy suggested this place... it was the kopi tiam in between Song River and Carnation.. I can't remember what's the name..
this zhu char, TOKIO was once from somewhere nearby our house.. Tingkat Jelutong area.. we used to dine-in at there since we moved up to Bt. Lanchang... (when I was still in primary skool..)
stories started from few yrs backed.. this zhu char has moved to town from their old shop... the taoke a.k.a. chef was once owned the restaurant in Red Rock Hotel.. ( I believe it has yet become Red Rock during that time... ) and moved moved moved to few more places.. which I already have no idea where and where... and now.. it settled down again at Gurney.. and here we come again..
actually all these while, ko ko and daddy still pong chan em.. that's why daddy alwiz known where to look for em..
Kim girl is surrounded by ah Girl and ah Gr..
no matter what we ordered... Ko Ko must have ordered this as his "Starter".. Tom Yam Maggie Mee...
one of their signature, daddy's fav.. Fried Oyster Noodles.. it goes well with their home-made Sambal...
No doubt this was for Gr and I.. he he.. Sambal Kang Kung w shrimp.. ( but we would never eat the prawn.. )
so does this.. for gr & I.. Fried LA LA..
Fried Octopus with Dried Chilli
Mummy's fav.. Fried Cheah Hoo... it served with a special sambal... topped with Dried shrimp, Chopped Onion and a spread of lime juice.. yummy!!! you can munch the whole fish head.. as they were so crispy !!
Gr insisted to order this Curry Fish Head from the other stall.. so so nia..
Sweet and Sour Pork~ je's and my fav.. Pai Guat Wong..
this was something new that recommended by the auntie... Kai Lan Nor Bi... the below was the normal steamed/ fried Kai Lan with garlic, and topped with the deep fried Kai Lan... it tastes nice when you mixed em together or eating em separately...
