Youth'08, 2nd trip to kl..

Saturday... 19th... I went down to KL Again.. it was a company trip this time.. Jon drove, with Alice n I...
There was an event being held in KL... .. our purpose going down to KL was to join it.. it ain't like wut we expected tho.. we tot itz something bigger n happening.. It turned up to be more towards Entrepeunour.. while we are more towards creative industry..
his face is funny.. due to the hot bright Uncle Sun..

I was starving.. I bought this lil cupcake once I saw it.. my expectation was certainly higher den wut it actually was... I miss the pastries in Aussie so badly... hmmm..

Coincidently, Ah Beh was taking part in the Break Dancing Competition... Apparently, their group won the 1st Prize ~! proud of him.. ^^

this stall owned by a fren of Jon.. i like his products.. Ms Hua, his new product.. just something special n diff from the others.. the designer is nice too...

The grafitti is Kewl..

last day..

3rd day.. view from Pei's.. her condo is nice.. something diff from others... itz a double storey unit...
when u step out from the lift.. da houses look like a row of semi-D.. more den an apartment...

the doughnut dt taken us so long to buy... we din eat em fresh.. bt left to the next day morning for breaky... there was no way to enjoy em after u eaten SO much, heavy foods.. we hit em up before eating... i prefer the almond one..
of course... Krispy Kreme still the better... I reckon.. hmmmm....

we had our lunch at One U.. Vietnamese Foods... also one of my fav... gOsh.. I miss the Viet foods in Melbourne so badly.. especially the Viet Hot Bread... there is no way to have found it in M'sia... simply Awesome...

This Viet Rest in One U... I eaten here before... 2 yrs ago... the foods are not too bad... bt when I came back again.. 2 yrs later.. after I've tried so many diff Viet Cuisine in Melbourne... It certainly can't earn my satisfaction no more...
It is still considering as one of the nicest Viet Rest in M'sia tho...
They call it Mong Fan.. ( which means Bee hoon in Viet.. Mong Bean = Green Bean.. ) their traditional bee hoon usually serves in dry style.. with some vegie ( the one i tried in Aust.. has more vegie.. like carrots n stuff ), It comes with a special sauce ( tastes something like sweet chillis, hu lor, nuts& etc..... ) pour the sauce into the dish.. mix it up and makan...
Pho~ ( pronounces as 'fur' ) Vietnamese Beef noodle..顺化牛肉粉 ( it tastes a bit spicy then the normal traditional one.. )
itz actually something like kuih tiao.. bt itz thinner den our kuih tiao.. like half a size..
the most traditional one shud be ' Raw Beef Pho'.. dont feel disgusting with the word 'Raw'.. they used to slice the beef into really thin slices... n the soup should be very hot.. ( only if u can see the smoke ), when they pour the very HOT soup over the beef.. it will eventually turn into Cooked.. wont be overcooked bt just nice n soft to be eaten... the traditional one supposed to be in clear soup.. the beansprout and Coriander served together with the Pho... itz optional for u to add em in ur Pho..
Lemongrass Chicken Rice.. another recommended.. in Viet Cuisine.. therez another famous dish called Broken Rice.. I never tried before.. bt heard dt the rice is really broken.. tastes exactly like the normal rice.. bt in broken shape.. broken rice comes during the War.. pplz were poor and lacked of food.. thus they broken the rice in order to gt more.. ( not sure, bt being told bout it.. )

Lemongrass Drink.. my first time trying it.. NICE !
for ppl who is into Viet Cuisine.. must have known dt Viet Coffee is Famous.. worth a try.. bt this one.. i think the ppl made em had put too much water.. apparently.. the coffee taste weak n nt dt nice tho.. itz better to ask em to serve the condense milk separately.. orelse it gonna become to sweet.. ( I personally dont like sweet stuff.. except Ice-Cream ! *winkz )

we dropped by Ipoh.. to have the 芽菜鸡..

I like this pic very much.. I feel touched by seeing the expression of this ah-ma... I can't express my tot.. bt itz meaningful.. while je likes the guy & baby one..

龙师傅 - 花生芝麻糊

we were all worn out after the buffet... my philosophy.. Eating considers a tiring exercise afterall.. we were in no mood to do nothing.. nt even shopping.. we have all fallen asleep Once we gt up the car.. thus, je kept blaming us for not helping her to look for the directions to Mid Valley.. Mung met us up at there too..

our stomach were too fulled to gt in anymore food... therefore, Pei brought us to this place to have some desserts.. which I haven't been asking for long... SS2, 龙师傅

花生芝麻糊 + 汤圆.. fantastic !!

Pei ordered 姜汤汤圆je ordered 红豆汤Avocado Roll...

Avocado always reminds me of Australia... itz tasteless.. bt many pplz' fav tho, I wonder why... itz yum yum when comes with chix... best partners afterall...
i miss the sandwish spreading with Avocado on one side, mayo on the other side.. fills with chix n salad.. gOsh.. yum yum... n must not forget.. Salt + pepper..
that's the sandwish I done the most for my customers... he he

Jogoya..

2nd day... we planned to have jap buffet lunch at Jogoya.. when we gt to there.. we found out that the Tea-Time session is cheaper alot.. thus we all decided to wait for another hr.. and have the tea-time at 1340..we tended to sip our time at Pavillion.. since none of us has been there before... somemore.. pplz around keeps saying there is nice, grand n stuff.. we were all so starving.. we wouldnt want to eat nothing in order to leave our stomach empty and get ready for Jogoya.. while our 'red-light' started blinking so badly.. we headed for JCO doughnut... another recommended from others... the queue was long everyday, every moment... when we happened to buy our half dozen.. it was already time to go for our Jogoya.. I reckon that.. the reason making JCO so long queue everyday.. is mainly due to their management arrangement.. despite the crowd of customers.. they dont have gud system routine tho.. i saw lotz employees in the cafe bt most of em stood aside while left only 1 lady to in-charge at the front bar.. how on earth could the business runs efficient and effective with this kinda service in these days?

we spent so long to queue for the doughnut.. bt when we finally have bought em.. we din even give a bite on it but hurried to go for our yum yum japz buffet..the hot-spring-egg is yummy yum yum... ^^
mah-1st-round Pei recommended this big-head-prawn.. fresh+sweet
mah fav Beef sukiyaki.. too bad they dun have shabu-shabu... wut a waste..?
Salmon Fish Head.. Cheesy Escargot..
tho this pic doesnt look nice.. bt it tasted great tho... Cheese Baked Oyster Mushroom..o it looks normal.. bt tastes heaven~ haha.. my fav asparagus.. we ordered it for 5 times..

Cheesy Crab..
SHASHIMI!the Tuna Tataki is awesome!!
the japanese-Cheese-Cake is recommended.. and the oatmeal cookies are gud gud gud...
last pic before leaving... my stomach was fulled til i can hardly stand straight... i wished to continue eating sumore... there were still loads of foods we havent tried out.. bt my stomach gt too little spaces to carry too much ' shitty'.. shameful... ha ha..

Trois Canon Cafe @ Chulia Street
