approaching 17th July...

25th buRfday of my mate.... Lim Sam Mui...

noticed it falls on a Saturday...

no second thought...

I called up da fella katiakz for a suRprise trip down to Malacca.... *twinks

sync with Missie S...

(1) plan to persuade Jess to spend her burfday weekend in Malacca - succeed (:

(2) transportation - planned

(3) Hotel - booked

(4) permission from parents - checked

when everything seemed so in place and happee...

da-busy-blur-sick-ill-kimmie done a most stupid thing on earth...

forwarded a wrong email to missie Jess few hrs before da surprise take place... T.T

anyhow, she still happee and touched with all the plans... ^^

cancelled the night journey to KL, departed 7am on Saturday morning...

reached KL at 10ish, met up MiMi and had yummeh breaky...

I went Jonker Night Market on Saturday night in Malacca.... ^^

it was so crowded that weekend...

must-have-food in Malacca....

Biji Chicken Rice...

this lady never realized the kicap is all over her hand...

Jen and I both the Poh Piah lover...

got attracted by this uncle poh piah stall...

like very traditional type... a lot of ppl queue up for it.....

rm2.00 for a big one...

uncle's stall was just opened...

but the whole tray of Fried Poh Piah were selling fast, left the last 2...

no doubt the Poh Piah is really Yummeh !!!

I would have few more if let says my tummy wasn't being loaded with the biji chic rice...

too sweet for my liking... Mimi's favourite...

we bought this... to remind us the childhood memories.... ^^

I can't believe the long queue..

the pic below shown only 2/3 of the customers...
does it really worth to wait at least an hr for the lok lok....?

Mung and I can't wait for long..

thus, went the opposite shop to had the Teow Chew Porridge...

nice and cheap~ ^^

we went back hotel 1st while the rest were waiting for the lok lok...
thus, I'm unable to comment on how nice is the Satay Lok...

yummeh grilled cuttle fish found at Jonker Market.... :)

-Jumping Session-

tho the trip was pretty short, less than 48 hrs...

compared to our last Aussie trips which was 2 weeks long...

I had really really great times (tho I was AV + gastric + heavy flu *sigh~ ) ...

after 2 yrs, finally we managed to leave everything aside and went for a short gathering trip...

need not spending lots, it's the moments that counts...

our laughters put a full-stop to end this trip...

I pray for more frenship trips to come...

gReat Chilling place - Limau-Limau Cafe in Malacca

the 2nd/ last day in Malacca...

before ending our Malacca gathering short tRip..

we would like to have a beautiful English breaky... ^^

a nice breaky always great to kick start a beautiful day...

the heavy rain in da morning hinted us that our cycling plan is no hope at all... :'(

luckily we found this !!

located one of the little street in Jonker...

anyone who loves Amelie Cafe (refer here) will definitely love this place much muchie...

concept about the same...

but more developed...

more cosy...

and more on the menu as well.... (:

nicely blended potato, well cooked...
can still taste the tiny tiny potato....
the owner is not stingy with nothing at all...
all soups served with a glass of fresh garlic toasted crontons... (:

they didn't cook it with loads of cream... but served it in clear soup style instead...
with slices of Portabella Mushroom in it...

Pumpkin soup...


I love this the most...
creamy as in natural blended pumpkin.. without adding in any cream or milk at all...
after tried the Punpkin Soup from Aussie, little Collin St... I never like any other pumpkin soup except This !!!

Chicken, Egg and Cheese toasted Focaccia, with Lettuce and Tomato...


the portion is kinda big...
super duper breaky/ brunch/ lunch to go... with Omellete super nicely cooked...
every mouthful gives you a full level of satisfaction !!


3 layers Banana Pancakes with Honey and Vanilla Ice Cream...


everyone gives a 'super-lam-expression' after eating this...
pancake nicely prepared with thin and small slices... superb to pair with the thick slices of banana...
simply Marvelous !!

Homemade Chicken Lasagna, served with 2 slices of Garlic Bread

besides Chicken, Beef and Vegetarian are available too...
can see the portion is quite big....
sharing with two is just nice... so to leave some space to try other foods...
the paste and everything nicely baked... very yummeh !!!

Chicken Pita Bread with Cucumber and Tomato + home recipe mayo ...


this is considered bit dry for those who not favor pita bread...
but very healthy and low calories at times !! :)

YC side ordered this Omellette with Cheese to add into her Chicken Pita Bread...

the egg is being cooked rily well... impressed everyone of us...
It's thick, yet soft, melted on the surface, taste simply great !!!!
How we wish to have this for breaky every morning... !
I wanna learn to cook it !! ^^

Natural Yogurt with Honey.... rm 4.90 only...
it looks and tastes bit like tau foo fah... he he...
this is so yummeh.... but of cuz... still far to compare with the natural daily homemade fresh yogurt in Aussie... as I noticed they're using Nestle Natural Yogurt...
I likey it still~~ wuhuu~~


freshly squeeze Orange Juice which come in a set with my Banana Pancake...

this is so yummilicious.... no ice, no sugar, no water added !!!
no one can ever reject to have a sip of it...


6 of us had quite alot of foods, besides those mentioned above, plus few hot choc, coffee, teas and juices...
total bill costs only rm 99.20
we're very satisfied with the $ paid...
- with great foods + nice & frenly services + cosy yet comfy place -

it would be rather wasted if we Do Not take Some-pictures at such a nice cafe before leaving...
we started our drama-queens session...
can see how cosy is this place... ^^

I will definitely come back again for this place...

Limau-Limau would be my only reason to travel Malacca again in future...

till I willing to travel another 6hrs drive....
